You Make the Pack! But What One Should We Make??

You Make the Pack is our community project where we build a pack of Magic cards, one card at a time! What starts as a blank slate quickly narrows into a specific vision. Past packs were Food Hell World, Declining Clockwork Empire, and The Beach That Makes You Old.

For this episode we’re looking at everyone’s cards for this new YMTP. We’ve got snorf, story, spores and more. Come along with us as we explore all the possibilities.

Bar Cube rules. No tokens! No counters! No Shuffling! Note I don’t mean a Bar theme, just the limits accepted by that style of Cube.

Snorph Pack: Here’s a mechanic, let’s make a pack from a set featuring it! What can we do with face-down and morph, but with a 3/2 (or bigger) twist?

Story Pack
Each card voted in will succeed the previous card in the telling of a story.

In Tradewars of Old Sidonis, you take on the role of a high-ranking executive in a rapidly declining corporation. The only way to save the company – and more importantly, yourself – is to achieve a complete monopoly by eliminating the three other players that stand in your way! Mechanically, this would be a Conspiracy-esque multiplayer set focused on evasion, draft-matters shenanigans, and battles! That being said, the only mechanics this card establishes are Policies and Decayed, so open to wherever people would want to go with the concept.

(Thanks to watertheweeds for helping me refine the Policy mechanic!)

You Pick the Art (YPTA): The winner of each slot picks the art for the next card which acts as the inspiration for the next slots designs.
